Ashton Kutcher Cheating Scandal Heating Up
This should be an interesting week in gossip as the Ashton Kutcher cheating scandal heats up.
Ashton and Demi celebrated their 5-year anniversary this weekend and tweeted a cheesy picture of themselves under the covers. Their apparent strategy is to pretend as if this entire story is not happening.
From Rob Shuter with Popeater.com (Rob is a former PR flack): “After weeks of rumor-fueled fears that their marriage was on the rocks, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore showed a united front on Thursday when they spoke together at the Clinton Global Initiative. However, sources tell me that the worst is yet to come. “There is a lot more information to come out,” an insider familiar with the situation tells me. “If the two of them think this is all going to go away now that they have been seen together in public, they are mistaken. The floodgates have been opened.” “This story is generating huge buzz and it’s only getting bigger,” an editor at the magazine tells me. “Now, Demi is on the cover of PEOPLE because of this scandal. If the sales numbers are good on Monday for Star and PEOPLE, you can bet more dirt will be dug up.”
The sick part is that if these magazines sell Demi will probably be elated.
The public relations team behind a cheating male celebrity believes that the best defense is a good offense. The team is reaching out to every media contact to suggest they use words like “promiscuous”, “liar”, “alcohol”, “drugs”, “tattoo” and “golddigger” in every article to describe the girl involved in the affair. They are also encouraging media to use the words “committed”, “united”, “devoted”, “happy”, and “generous” (?) to describe the couple. Their objective is to distract attention from their boy’s bad behavior and shaky relationship by destroying any remaining shreds of the girl’s reputation.
Don’t you just love how the mistress is always the disgusting one?
