Tom Cruise Praises Friend David Beckham’s “Solid Body”
Tom Cruise was so happy with his “dance” performance on the MTV Movie Awards that he granted several interviews. (Remember the days when he had a publicist with an iron fist? He would only grant one or two interviews and would never discuss personal matters). He told OK! Magazine: “I knew that I wanted to marry her after the first day I met her. What’s even more interesting is that Katie confessed that when she was a teenager she dreamt of marrying me. Doesn’t it seem incredible?”
How many people really buy that he wanted to marry her the first day he met/auditioned her? Was that also the day she was forced to sign a contract? You know who else has made a similar statement about dreaming about marrying their husband? Actress Kelly Preston has said she knew she was destined to marry John Travolta after she saw her future husband on a poster for Grease as a teenage girl. ‘I did have sort of a flash. I came out of a film; saw the poster for Grease and I knew I’d be with him. I just knew. I was about 16 years old. I really knew it and it turned into, ‘I’m going to marry that man,’ and so he likes to tease me that I walked out and said, ‘I’m going to marry that man,’ and then did, ultimately.’” Is that how Scientologists meet? Do you have dreams about your future husband/contract spouse?
Tom also talked about his bromance with David Beckham. He explained: “David and I became friends from the very start. I really admire him as a person, father, husband, and athlete. He’s absolutely fantastic. He’s got a great competitive spirit and he’s a tireless worker with a clear mind and a solid body.”
Now I ask you this…. What straight man talks about how his friend has a solid body?
