I Love Weddings
My friends got married this weekend. They had a beautiful ceremony and reception right on the beach in Santa Monica. Don’t you love weddings? The best part of the night is the champagne toast. I love champagne. If I did not have a job, husband, baby, and a general concern for my health I would drink champagne all day.
I was thrilled to be able to wear a dress. Poor Dan must think I only wear running shorts these days. My unruly hair was temporarily tamed. I actually put on some makeup. By the time we were finished with dinner and the dancing began we had to head home. We had an hour drive home, a babysitter to relieve, and my boobs looked like bowling balls. Times have changed. At Ashley’s wedding I did the worm in my gown. At Jen’s wedding I serenaded her family with It’s Raining Men. At Kayleigh and Paul’s wedding I challenged his fraternity brother to a 80s dance off. Good times.
